Explore Hillel BC’s resource kit, We Are Here – הננו (Hineinu). It’s a comprehensive resource hub and an intake platform designed to address key student needs and offer support when and where it’s needed in a confidential and secure manner.
We Are Here - הננו offers practical resources, from strategies on how to address antisemitic incidents and find mental health supports, to food insecurity, tips on managing finances, and finding housing. Whether you're an undergraduate, a graduate student, a parent, a faculty member, or a prospective student, these resources are here to support you in meaningful and practical ways.
How to use We Are Here - הננו
After clicking in to the resource kit, simply follow the prompts to find the support you or your student needs. You will be asked a series of questions relating to the challenges you or your student are facing. These are designed to help Hillel understand how to best support you or your student and direct you to the most appropriate services. All information is kept strictly confidential and will only be shared if and as appropriate with the professionals your student meets.
Our goal is to provide immediate, tangible assistance. The platform was developed directly in response to what students were sharing with us—their needs, comments, concerns and requests for additional supports. It’s a platform for all Hillel BC students to use and benefit from, no matter what campus they are on. We’ll be doing testing and updates on a rolling basis to ensure it develops to meet student needs as they change.
The platform that We Are Here – הננו is built on specializes in collecting sensitive and personal information in healthcare and other organizations that support a variety of populations. The platform was developed in adherence with recognized frameworks and government regulations with regards to sensitive and personal information security and privacy. The platform is password protected with varying degrees of access permissions. This helps to ensure your data is protected.
