Tyler Samuels

Tyler is the Advocacy and Emerging Campuses Lead, Springboard Intrapreneurship Fellow at Hillel! He was born and raised in Markham, Ontario, to Jamaican-Jewish parents. He attended the University of Toronto at Scarborough Campus (UTSC), where he majored in History and Political Science. A master in everything history and poli sci related, Tyler loves and loathes social media, where he talks about Jewish history, diversity within the Jewish community, and his own Jamaican-Jewish identity on his account “BluntBlackJew.” In his spare time, he loves history, hiking, and cooking; he's a big fan of rugby, baseball, and hockey (Maple Leafs, obviously).
