Ofer Joseph
Lead Campus Professional (Emerging Campuses)
Ofer has joined the Hillel BC team this year as the new Lead Campus Professional for our Emerging Campuses; SFU, Langara, and Emily Carr.
Originally from Israel, Ofer moved to Vancouver in 2021 with his partner, the Israeli Emissary (shlicha) for Camp Miriam – Habonim Dror.
Before moving to Vancouver, Ofer worked as a treasurer in one of the most significant youth movements in Israel – The Working and Studying Youth Movement (NOAL) and as a counsellor (Madrich) for new “Ulim” (Jewish immigrants) that moved to Israel, from North America and Australia, who chose to join the movement, and work in the field of education in Israel. After more than 12 years of working with North Americans who made Aliya to Israel part of their Jewish journey, Ofer is thrilled to start a new adventure in the Jewish world.
Ofer holds a BEd in Informal Education from Beit-Berl College and an LL.B in Israeli law from Ono Academic College.
