The Campaign Coordinator is an integral part of the campaign team, working collaboratively with volunteers and staff to ensure the smooth running of the campaign and its related events. We need a keen and resourceful self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, to provide administrative and development support to elevate the campaign goals of the organization. This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week.
The position reports to the Campaign Director and has responsibility in four main areas:
Campaign Operations, Events and Programming, Volunteer Management, and Donor Relationship Management.
We are looking for an experienced tutor or teacher to work with students ages 6-16
years old on school assignments, general academic study skills and work habits, from
reading and writing to mathematics.
Dates/hours: Wednesdays from 4:00 – 7:00pm (4-5pm, 5-6pm and 6-7pm slots)
September 14 – December 14
Compensation: $35.00/hour, part-time fixed term contract with possibility to extend.
Culinary Adventures (after-school cooking class)- Jewish Community Center of Greater Vancouver (JCC)
Cooking instructor must plan, organize, and lead cooking classes for
children ages 8-12, showcasing a variety of cuisine. Focus is on independent kitchen
skills and healthy food choices both sweet and savory. Professional cooking experience
is not required, but a passion for food and teaching experience is ideal.
Dates/Hours: Tuesdays from 4:00 – 5:30pm
September 13 – December 13
Compensation: $35.00/hour (2 hour pay for 1.5h class + 30 min prep time), part-time
fixed term contract with possibility to extend.
The Pre-K/Kindergarten class for under-5-year-olds meets Sunday mornings from 9:30 to 12:30 pm. The session includes play-based activities as well as art projects and story time.
